In Macromedia Fireworks MX, how do I select only slices instead of objects? Is there a setting?
No matter what I try, when I hover over my objects in Fireworks, even if I push "show slices and hotspots" on the toolbar, the direct selection tool does not select my slices. I have another copy of Fireworks in the laptop and it does select there. Is there some type of setting or preference? The help files are no help. Thanks.
Three ways that can be done through layers panel:
• Turn off "Single Layer Editing".
• Lock all layers except web layer.
• Click directly on the slice layer.
